In a way, I agree with on Ieyasu. It was a good think he did not have to deal with Hojo or Takeda right away.<br /><br />What I liked about Tsang's book is that she noted that Ieyasu had to deal with the Mikawa ikko ikki right off the bat. I am not sure Ieyasu would have survived without it and Nobunaga would have faced far greater threats from the East without Ieyasu.
