The 2015 Azuchi Matsuri was held over the weekend near Azuchi Castle. There was a parade with the Uesama leading people dressed in Sengoku costumes, a matchlock rifle squad and the like. During my trip back to Japan last month, I managed to visit Azuchi and saw the 15 minute movie at the Nobunaga museum. The movie with Nobunaga, carpenter Okabe Matazaemon, and Luis Frois explained Azuchi Castle in its full glory.
