I found this video by Owada Tetsuo interesting. According to him, Akechi Mitsuhide was a local administrator in Kaga for a short time. Owada Tetsuo explains in a book, Hokoku Bunka (2020 winter ed). This is news to me. In the Chronicle of Lord Nobunaga, there is nothing written about Mitsuhide receiving anything. Now during the time of 1575 Nobunaga did get his hands on Nomi and Enuma districts in Kaga. It is assumed that Mitsuhide was in control of them. However, after Nobunaga took control over some areas of Kaga, Mitsuhide left for action in Tango. Mitsuhide was busy and possibly overworked.
