Iguiba

This place near the Battle of Muraki landmark is called Iguiba.  This is the area where Nobunaga's soldiers celebrated their big victory at the Battle of Muraki 1554.  I was fortunate enough to visit Iguiba last fall with Mr. Okehazama (Wataru Kajino) and Yukio and Akitsugu Kajino.  This was an important victory over the Imagawa since six years later would be the Battle of Okehazama.

I wrote a post on the complete description of the Battle of Muraki 1554 last year. http://otsuke.blogspot.com/2013/02/muraki.html

Sorry if it's a bit out of context but do you happen to have more informations on Nobunaga's uijin? Besides what I could read on the "Chronicle" I don't know much... I would love some map!
I'm planning another trip to Japan and I'd like to cover the bits that I couldn't check the last time ;3 !

You can read Joroen Lamers Japonius Tyrannus, the English biography on Nobunaga. It is expensive, but well worth it.

I own that already, together with the Shinchoukoki by Elisonas and Lamers ;3
There's nothing about Nobunaga's uijin on that book, but some vague description on an attack on Imagawa territories.
The Shinchoukoki is more detailed about it, adding that the location was Kira Ouhama in the Mikawa province, and mentions the use of fire.
