This weekend Chris Glenn will host a talk show at Banshoji Temple located at Osu Kannon in the heart of Nagoya. Awhile back he wrote a great article on Banshoji.

I also wrote a short story back in 2012 on young Nobunaga and his father's (Oda Nobuhide) funeral at Banshoji.

Speaking of temples... Sorry if this is off-topic, but I've been wondering about the locations of the original Honnoji and Myokakuji. I tried to look it up online, but no luck there.
I do not know about the original Myokakuji. However, the present Myokakuji is near the Urasenke Chado research center. I was there last year.
The Honnoji where Nobunaga died is just a simple landmark. It is not far from the Shincho-Saryou restaurant.
Yeah, I'm looking for the landmarks. Is there a map for it? The landmark for both Honnoji and Nijo. I know where Shinchou Saryou is, but I can't find the landmark last time.
Actually, the modern Honnoji has a small museum that can provide you with a map. However, it is in Japanese.
The person doesn't even understand what I'm asking when I tried to ask him for a map or directions :( Do you have a link to a map?
The landmark is located at Aburakoji-dori and it is near the Horikawa school.
Okay, found the street names. Take Aburakoji-dori and the cross street is Takoyakushi-dori. Kyoto City.
