Uesama's Birthday I

Shobata recently celebrated Nobunaga's birthday with a beautiful mosaic.  As you can see from the picture, the mosaic is a youthful Nobunaga.  It looks good and need another visit to Shobata in the near future.  Speaking of Shobata, there is a fair article on Nobunaga's birth.  It does explain the Nagoya and Shobata theory.

Oh, I see that the mosaic was installed by the train station, not where the landmark of the castle is!
It must be easy to reach, then.

Shobata or Nagoya..? Will we ever know the truth XD ?

Nearby the Shobata station, there is a model of what Shobata Castle might have looked liked. The model is nicely well done.

After the trip that I'm planning for this autumn, I think that I'll go to Japan again in 2017 (I'd love a jump to China, too!) to celebrate my Chinese zodiac by gaining cool amulets at Shinto shrines X'D

You can count on me on that period ^o^/
