2014 Toyoake Okehazama I

My good friend Mikawa Hide's blog has a post on the 2014 Toyoake Okehazama Festival.

At the festival, there was a military procession, kids wearing samurai armor, and a reenactment of the battle.  The ladies were beautifully dressed as Sengoku princesses.  I have to admit, I am jealous that I am not there.  As a scholar and a historian of the Battle of Okehazama, this is one festival I would love to see and participate.  Many thanks to Hide and his blog for providing beautiful and rich pictures.

Tenka no tame!

Thank you very much for the link :D
Such events are always so interesting! I'm just bothered by the fact that all the related videos that I found on Youtube focuses on the random dances rather than the battle's rehearsal ;_; !

--I also liked the fact that foreigners are allowed to take part in the play ^_^ !!
