Nobunaga Omotenashi

There is a special Nobunaga meal being served at Ryokan Usho No Ei Sagiyama in Gifu City.  The ryokan is located near the Nagaragawa River.  From the picture above, the food looks delicious.  Sengoku Busho cooking/dining sets are increasing throughout Japan.  A lot of it is due to promoting tourism in the local areas.

--Too bad that to eat it you have to reserve a room in the inn for 19.000 yen ^_^;

Time ago I read about a series of bento dedicated to the "Three Unifiers of Japan" in one of the restaurants at Nagoya station, but when I looked for infos I just saw that it was sold-out ;_; I guessed that it was up for a limited period of time, probably during the Nagoya Matsuri é_è ...

I was lucky to have Nobunaga's last supper obento in Nagoya a few years ago. Again, it was limited to a few months and that was it.

So lucky!!!!

Do you remember the exact name of the restaurant and when you had it, exactly..?

It was only sold at the Nagoya JR station. almost like an ekiben. Again, they do not sell it anymore.

Yes, I know, I was wondering if maybe it was some seasonal thing that was repeated during certain periods of the year.
If it was released during the Nagoya Matsuri, for example, I may have a chance to find it on sale again T3T !!
